Directions to Harbor Town Marina on Lake Allatoona

Please Note: They are doing road construction on I-75 above Barrett Parkway and traffic may be bad some days. Because of this I have included an alternate route in the directions. See below for advice on how to determine if you should take the alternate route.

Advice on how to determine if you should take the Alternate Route in the Directions.
  1. First check the Georgia Navigator website. Click this link and it will bring up a picture of what traffic looks like in Atlanta. If you see red where the arrow is pointing below then I advise taking the Alternate Route.

     
  2. I have seen the DOT put small traffic signs on the side of the road some days. If have seen it between the North Loop (Exit 265) and I-575 (Exit 268). Look for them and make a judgement call based on what they say.
     
  3. From driving up there some now I have noticed that as long as you are at the lake by 11 am on Saturday and usually by 1 pm on Sunday then traffic is never that bad and might only delay you a minute or so at the most.
